Konsep Pendidikan Muhammad Ali Pasha dalam Konteks Modernisasi: Akses, Kurikulum, Kesetaraan, dan Infrastruktur

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji reformasi pendidikan yang diinisiasi oleh Muhammad Ali Pasha di Mesir pada awal abad ke-19, dengan fokus pada aspek modernisasi, akses, kurikulum, kesetaraan, dan infrastruktur pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis historis dan komparatif, menelaah kebijakan pendidikan Muhammad Ali Pasha, dampak jangka panjang reformasi tersebut, serta perbandingannya dengan reformasi pendidikan kontemporer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Muhammad Ali Pasha memainkan peran kunci dalam modernisasi pendidikan Mesir dengan mendirikan sekolah-sekolah baru, memperkenalkan kurikulum berbasis Eropa, membangun infrastruktur pendidikan, serta memberikan beasiswa untuk studi ke luar negeri. Reformasi ini memperluas akses pendidikan dan meningkatkan kesetaraan, meskipun masih terdapat tantangan dalam inklusi sosial dan ekonomi. Reformasi pendidikan Muhammad Ali Pasha memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap kemajuan sosial dan ekonomi Mesir. Meskipun pendekatannya sering kali otoriter, warisan reformasi ini tetap relevan dalam diskursus pendidikan kontemporer, terutama dalam konteks akses, infrastruktur, kesetaraan, dan relevansi kurikulum.
