Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas program pelatihan keterampilan yang diorganisir oleh Dinas Perindustrian dan Koperasi Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) Kota Gunungsitoli dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Dengan fokus pada peningkatan kapasitas kerja, penciptaan lapangan pekerjaan, dan peningkatan pendapatan. Sumber data utama diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dengan dengan Kepala Bidang Koperasi, Usaha Kecil Menengah dan Analisis Bimbingan Usaha pada Kantor Dinas Perindustrian dan Koperasi UKM Kota Gunungsitoli, serta pelaku usaha dan masyarakat yang telah mengikuti pelatih, yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model interaktif, meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa program pelatihan keterampilan telah berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi individu dan kelompok, serta memiliki dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan ekonomi dan sosial di Kota Gunungsitoli. Kurikulum pelatihan yang dirancang sesuai kebutuhan peserta dan materi pelatihan yang relevan memudahkan peserta dalam memahami materi, menghasilkan peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan perilaku baru. Program ini juga menjangkau kelompok terpinggirkan, mengurangi kesenjangan sosial dan ekonomi, dan mendorong aplikasi keterampilan yang diperoleh dalam situasi dunia nyata. Kesimpulan dari studi ini menegaskan efektivitas program pelatihan keterampilan dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, memberikan bukti pentingnya program semacam ini dalam strategi pengembangan sumber daya manusia dan ekonomi lokal.
